Dale
is the director who once sat on stage during a finals
set and filed her nails while the chorus sang and danced
around her. Dale is the quartet member and occasional
emcee that thinks cats taste like chicken. Dale is the
hopelessly inept dancer of a song called Conga Rhythm
who finally made her mark as a Sweet Adeline comedian
and certifiably crazy person.

Mention
Peggy Gram to members of Sweet Adelines, and you might
hear her described as a well known and admired musician,
a long time leader, teacher and role model in the organization,
a 30+ year quartet member who has sung as a lead, a baritone
and a bass. Once Peggy finally discovered her smooth and
mellow bass voice, she quickly became a two-time international
quartet champion. Peggy has been a chorus director for
30 years, taking Top Of The Rock Chorus to a Region #25
championship several times and once winning the Harmony
Achievement Award. Others watching Peggy on stage might
describe her as the owner of a famous neck with an even
more famous nape, or as an emcee with a witty and charismatic
southern accent. People watching Peggy from the stage
would know her as a judge in the showmanship category.
