Dale is the director who once sat on stage during a finals set and filed her nails while the chorus sang and danced around her. Dale is the quartet member and occasional emcee that thinks cats taste like chicken. Dale is the hopelessly inept dancer of a song called Conga Rhythm who finally made her mark as a Sweet Adeline comedian and certifiably crazy person.

Like Peggy, Dale is the daughter of a long time Sweet Adeline (Virginia), and because of her mother's involvement in the organization, Dale joined Sweet Adelines at age 14.

Dale has been a member of the organization for 42 years, and has directed for 31 of those years -West Suburban (3 years) and the Rich-Tones (28 years)

Bill Thornton, lead of the Dealer’s Choice (SPEBSQSA), and who is currently working on ‘professional status’ as an eccentric, is Dale’s significant other. The Dealer’s Choice and The Tiffanys were international quartet champions in 1973, and did many shows together. After basking in the joy of Dale’s company, Bill set his sights on Dale, but all Dale wanted to do was sing tags. Something went drastically wrong with Dale’s tag plan, because Dale ultimately moved to Dallas to be closer to roaches that were larger than the stop lights in Chicago. Bill was also in Dallas, introduced Dale to Mexican food, and the rest, as they say, is history….

Not wanting to be outdone by Peggy, Dale also has a relationship with the number “2”.

Dale has been in and directed two choruses in her life – West Suburban (Chicago) and the Rich-Tone Chorus (Dallas)

Dale has had 2 golf lessons in her life, (She quit because the “sticks” were too short and her Mom kept telling her to stand up straight)

Dale has had 2 roller skating lessons (learning how to turn corners and stop) but stopped when she realized lesson #3 was learning to skate backwards. (She quit because she didn't have eyes in the back of her head and wasn't planning to go backwards anyhow…)

Dale has had 2 horse back riding lessons (English rather than Western and had to quit because she kept dropping her drawers to check for bruises)

Dale has eaten vegetables twice in her life (one stalk of broccoli and one green bean)
Dale has 2-second place international chorus medals
Dale has 2 third place international chorus medals
Dale has 2 crowns (Tiffanys and Rumors)
Dale screwed up her love affair with “2” by winning 3 chorus gold medals
Dale is talented, hard working, relentless, dedicated, successful, funny, very baritone, and definitely crazy.
