Darlene
Rogers
Darlene has been in the Sweet Adeline International
witness protection program since singing in her last
six quartets and has not yet provided a suitable press
release that’s fit to print here.
With a nod towards poetic license,
we can tell you Darlene is a mother (of two grown sons),
a proud grandmother, owner of a new car (Toyota), a
plant lover, a vegetable lover, an avid reader, a swimmer,
a world famous cyclist (or hopes to be once she purchases
a bicycle), an accomplished and well educated musician,
divorced (there is a trend here, have you noticed?),
a well loved leader and the voice teacher of Dale Syverson.
Darlene is currently working on her
memoirs about the good old days before her recent conversion
to baritone. Darlene is relieved she is not a tenor,
claims her favorite song is “I Enjoy Being A Girl”
and wishes to thank her parents for giving her such
musical genes.
